I’ve been wandering around Yahoo (and MSN before that and Powwow before THAT) for quite some time, looking to make contact with a girl/woman that has a common set of interests to match mine. It is not that mine are that eclectic, it is more that once you fight your way through all the fakes and the posers in the rooms, you are lucky if you have enough energy left to talk even if you DO find someone real!!

So…this is my letter of introduction. I’d enjoy chatting, becoming friends, seeing what the possibilities might be, sharing stories and perspectives on life and love (or lack thereof) and work and family…all those normal things that people do. Who knows, we might even find some other more sordid topic to discuss, right? My only non-negotiable requirement will be that we figure out somehow to prove your gender. This can be a quick phone call, speaking in person on mic over the computer or even an exchange of “salute” pictures. We can cross that bridge when we come to it.
